It was such a pleasure being part of this incredible winter wedding at Ataahua Garden Venue. Rachel and Lance were a breeze to deal with, and their aesthetic was spot on for the season, having a beautiful, natural branch dotted with orchids as their bridal table backdrop. This was in good company with their stunning branch arch!
It’s been a while since I’ve been in Hong Kong, the last time I traveled here was 13 years ago and it was my first time in China. My mother lived in Shenhzen teaching English in a primary school, knew the spots and showed us around over a week. I’ve got fond memories of visiting Lantau Island, eating dumplings for the first time and learning the MTR.
Where to start with how much fun we had with Hayley and Carl? Being given a brief of just greenery is something we’ve never had before, and considering it’s now the Panetone 17 colour of the year it was rather fitting! The wedding took place at Ataahua garden venue, so the greenery brief certainly suited well to it’s surroundings at this time of year.
Amanda and Cam’s beautiful farm wedding was one to remember. Amanda was clear with her vision and design details and what a result she got! Beautifully classic, Amanda looked stunning in her Juliette Hogan wedding dress and was accompanied by her beautiful bridesmaids in white. Her bouquets reflected much the same style, green and whites, simple yet elegant.
Zowie and Sean tied the knot on the hillside of Eagle Ridge. The floral ceremony arch was in perfect company with a picturesque backdrop of blue sky and green rolling hills, along with Zowie and Sean’s family and friends.
Who can resist the beachside as your ceremony backdrop!? That is exactly what Maria and Grant had, and an amazingly lush and full ceremony arch to frame up the love birds. The colours Maria asked us to bring in were dreamy; golds, apricots, and a touch of dark beech leaves with moody pink quicksand roses to match in with her dress.
Ayla and Hayley’s day was one to remember. The day was spent with their closest friends and family and no shortage of meaningful detail. The ceremony took place down Blossom Lane in Ataahua and both their dogs joined in on the outdoor celebrations. Ayla and Hayley’s wedding day was a true reflection of their personalities, fun and relaxed.
Carly & Luke’s early January wedding was held within the wild spirited gardens of Old Forest School. This wedding was something a little different for On My Hand, playing with a more classic brief than usual and we loved doing something a little out of the ordinary for us. Carly was a gorgeous, relaxed bride and flexible with the type of flowers used. She put all her trust in us to make something stunning for their special day.
