We know winter can feel like a drag, but the good news is it’s nearly spring, which also means it’s nearly time for our popular spring workshops to make their welcome annual return.
We’ll be starting off our series with a spring bouquet session on Saturday, September 14 from 1pm till 3pm. This workshop sold out super-quick last year and was a massive hit, so we recommend booking your spot immediately!

This bouquet workshop will bring you together with other like-minded floral enthusiasts in our flower cave/studio to celebrate the beautiful palette and flower varieties that spring offers. You’ll learn how to create your own spiral technique gift bouquet, along with how to care for flowers, where to buy them, how to forage and pick them. All materials are provided, including a variety of flowers grown locally by our favourite growers, as are refreshments.

Our second spring workshop is the first of its kind and with a magnificent venue to boot. Held at the beautiful Black Walnut in Whakamarama, on Sunday September 22 from 10am – 1pm. You’ll get an invaluable introduction to event styling, creating your own hanging floral sphere using spring flowers and colours. Once completed, we will sit beneath the spheres to enjoy a light lunch.
We anticipate this workshop will be very popular and numbers are strictly limited, so click here to see the available workshops and book your spot today.
And, to make things even better, once you’ve learned all the tips and tricks at our workshops, you’ll be able to purchase one of our ‘Budding florist’ kits to practise your creativity at home.
