EVENT| A Mediterranean masterpiece!

Why have just one party, when you can have two? That is exactly what Nicole and Billy chose to do when they got married at a private property in Matarangi in March . They had such a clear vision of what they wanted and we were absolutely thrilled to be part of bringing it to life.

After celebrating their wedding on the first day, they followed it up the next day with a Mediterranean-themed after party. The guests arrived mid-morning to a gorgeous Boston round marquee with hanging foliage garlands and an oval white bar that we dressed with arrangements, featuring mostly olive with big pops of colour. Claire from One Lovely Day brought to life the juice bar-bloody mary station-breakfast pizza amazingness!

To help transport Nicole and Billy’s guests to the Mediterranean in Matarangi, we used bright coloured florals like pink orchids, alongside apricot, quicksand, white, shimmer and bright pink roses, complemented with green and pink hydrangeas.

For the tables, we used a range of fruits – lemons, oranges, grapes and blood oranges to name a few – with olive foliage. We also dressed a tree in florals for guests to use as a photo backdrop. It was initially created for the ceremony, so we refreshed it and added pops of colour for the after match.

The pair had also arranged a number of bars (a bloody mary bar, a recovery bar, and a boat with drinks in it – dream party!) which we dressed with vase arrangements, as well as a pizza oven and a coffee cart.

Nicole and Billy had gone to great efforts to ensure all their guests’ needs were met throughout the day, so it was a real joy to add the floral colour and help them create a truly Med celebration to finish off their incredible wedding weekend.
